Kappa Chapter at Temple University
Exton, Pennsylvania
The Kappa Chapter of Temple University is still very active even though the dental hygiene program has been closed since 1988. Kappa Chapter meets annually directly after the Temple University Dental Hygiene Alumni Club’s
(TUDHAC) Annual Luncheon.

CCP scholarship winners from Kappa Component-2005-06
At the Kappa meetings, individual scholarships from $500 to $1000 continue to be awarded annually to the local community college’s dental hygiene student population. Every year a different school is honored. Some of the schools are Montgomery CC, Community College of Philadelphia
(CCP), Harcum CC and Manor CC. This past year CCP was the designated school.
At the Community College of Philadelphia, Kappa Secretary Kathy Falcone presented the 2005-06 Kappa scholarships for outstanding academic excellence to sophomores, Jessica Canty and Caroline Escobar.
Kappa’s motto is “Our school may be closed, but our Kappa mission remains intact!” By giving these scholarships, we feel that we do truly live on.
